Hello Bushberry Books
Welcome, welcome, welcome! To our adventurous antioxidant circle! We have in our colorful corner many stories, lessons, and paths to new experiences. Bushberry Books is our children’s corner of the Midnight Garden. Tucked carefully into a safe space, we help to provide advice and careful consideration with our authors. Our purpose in having a separate space specifically for our children is to ensure that we maintain appropriate behavior, language, and child friendly material with specific focus on things such as age range and development. We work with local education systems and certified teachers in order to ensure that we are up to date and inclusive as we welcome children of all ages to our Berry Bush.
Whether your point is to write a parable, an adventure, or developmental material, we’re here to help. We also work closely with local illustrators and printers so that the kinds of books you're focusing on can be truly your creation, shining in the brightest starlight we can offer. Our resource managers are here to make sure that your needs are met in the best way possible. With these personal connections to local resources, authors can rest easy that none of our resources are substituted with software programs. We support local businesses on every level so nothing is done en mass, or lost in a sea of online files.
Much like berries, children come from all unique places in life, and we want to ensure they feel safe and seen. One of our pillars of success in the children’s section is inclusivity. With certified trained individuals making sure we achieve top tier ranking, we strive to open our arms to all and meet the needs of our children and families. In this way, our readers not only can understand the literature they find, they can thrive. Growing on the branches of our business to learn, be curious, and to move forward on their own journeys!
We also work with local libraries and book stores so that children’s authors have spaces for things such as read aloud circle sessions, accompanying sensory projects, or productions like puppet shows that could showcase audio presentations, helping to reinforce context and tone to make the purpose of the writing as clear as possible.
Bushberry Books has been part of Midnight Garden Publishing since its inception, and we highlight it now so that all may see its value. Not just as a publishing company, but as a groundbreaking place of children in the KC metro area to thrive. Children’s books are about so much more than reading. When a child picks up a book they grow. Their curiosity increases. They want to learn more. It is truly inspirational to be part of that process with our local Kansas CIty communities.
